Dr Jay is a passionate post-secondary finance and accounting professional with over 25 years combined experience in teaching and practice. He is currently an instructor at Red Deer Polytechnic while engaging in speaking such as the Canadian Institutes of Financial Planners annual conference.

He has a Doctorate in Business (DBA) with a dissertation on active versus passive investment management. Additionally, he is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA). He Specializes in personal finance. Jason is passionate about mentoring and leading the next generation of financial professionals and households to reach their goals. Research shows that proper finances can lead to better health, longer lifespans and better relationships.
