Curious about how your teaching practices can evolve into research? This workshop introduces the foundations of the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) and provides practical guidance for faculty interested in exploring their own teaching and learning inquiries.

Participants will learn how to distinguish between scholarly teaching and SoTL, understand standards of scholarship and gain an overview of the key steps involved in the research pathway. The session will also highlight key ethical considerations, outline when Research Ethics Board approval is needed, and share the supports available at RDP to help you along the way.
