Close Connections | Suicide Prevention Training

Through our close connections, we can help others by supporting day‑to‑day wellness, promoting life, and preventing suicide. By increasing your knowledge and practicing key skills, you can learn to recognize when someone you know might be thinking of suicide, engage in conversation and listen with empathy, ask directly about thoughts of suicide, and connect the person to safety, supports, and resources. Join us for this workshop hosted by Recovery Alberta and build skills to help us prevent suicide, together.

This training is required for Student Mental Health & Wellbeing and Recovery on Campus Volunteers.
